Navigating HHT: Research, Resources, and Advances in Care

New Insights from cure hHT's cHORUS registry

“HHT is the second most common inherited bleeding disorder worldwide, with a major burden of chronic mucosal bleeding and high risks of intracranial and intrapulmonary hemorrhage. Chronic bleeding in HHT results in the highest burden of iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia of any bleeding disorder, and progressively worsens over the lifespan in most patients. Proper management of chronic bleeding in HHT involves advanced iron replacement strategies, with intravenous iron product selection of critical importance, and use of systemic therapies to reduce bleeding burden and achieve hemostasis.”
