
Inaugural South African HHT Conference
We are thrilled to announce HHT Horizons, South Africa’s first Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) conference, organised by BLOODSA and taking place on Friday, 19 September 2025 at the Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town.
This landmark event brings together local and international experts, patients, and healthcare professionals across disciplines to build a national network based on the CureHHT framework and share cutting-edge knowledge in HHT care. The conference is endorsed by the international foundation, CureHHT, and the South African Clinical Haematology Society (SACHAS).

CureHHT is the leading global organisation dedicated to finding a cure for Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telangiectasia. Based in the United States, CureHHT supports research, education, advocacy, and the development of HHT Centres of Excellence around the world. Their mission is to ensure that every HHT patient is properly diagnosed and receives expert care. Under the leadership of CEO Marianne Clancy, who will be joining us, CureHHT has spearheaded international collaborations to expand access to HHT expertise and improve patient outcomes worldwide.
